Butcher Burger was established in the spring of 2014, specializing in unique burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls and fries. Since then, Butcher Burger has expanded into the Western Mountains of Maine and most recently, Portland, ME.
We pride ourselves in supporting local breweries and we are pleased to serve you the very best of what the Maine beer scene has to offer. We prepare all of our food in-house from scratch, using fresh ingredients.

Absolutely the best food I’ve had! The burgers are a great size, deliciously cooked! The onion rings are so golden and crispy and the large portion is perfect for anyone who can’t get enough of em! The Sea Salt fries were beyond good! A crinkle cut fry that holds all that salty goodness!! The chicken Cesar was delicious, beautifully breaded chicken!

The staff is wonderful and considerate, quick and genuine! It is absolutely worth the wait—whatever it is.

Visited this restaurant while in Portland, ME, for a Scentsy convention. Had a limited time for lunch. The atmosphere was quaint. Our server, Abby, was GREAT, but the food was the star! I had the Mc Mini burger, and it was by far one of the best I have ever had!!!!! Hot, juicy, full of flavor, and the hand cut fries were the perfect pairing. I highly recommend you go check this place out!!! You won't be disappointed.

When I say that this is probably the best chicken and waffles that I’ve ever had, I truly mean it. First thing first, the chicken is on point and crispy, the waffles are superb, they add an egg on the chicken that just some how fits with the chicken and waffles, and the FRIES?!? I truly detest crinkle fries, but BB crinkle fries are so hot, big, and just crispy! I would definitely recommend trying this place if you’re ever in the Old Port. I will definitely be back for the chicken and waffles, fries and their sauce!
