Butcher Burger was established in the spring of 2014, specializing in unique burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls and fries. Since then, Butcher Burger has expanded into the Western Mountains of Maine and most recently, Portland, ME.

We pride ourselves in supporting local breweries and we are pleased to serve you the very best of what the Maine beer scene has to offer. We prepare all of our food in-house from scratch, using fresh ingredients.

Delicious burgers and fries. Our server was sweet, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. I had the Hawaiian and my husband had the bacon bacon. The lucky lemonade was Delicious as well.

The Butcher Burger did a great job cooking the burger. The toppings went together well and produced an overall good experience. They offer gluten free buns that are a good size and taste good. The table seating is only outside with all the indoor seating being either at the bar or facing out the window. The inside does smell a bit smoky with all the cooking happening in the building, so you may want to eat outside if that bothers you.

Oh.my.goodness it was delightful! Just the right amount of goodness on a perfectly toasted roll. I was smitten from the first bite to the last! Husband had a burger (Texan) and he said his was also really good. The onion rings were cooked perfectly & although we TRIED to eat them all, we would have needed another person (or 2!).So delish! Great food and staff. Caitlin made our experience great. She was very attentive and had a playful banter back and forth with us. The House Burger and Nashville Chix Sandwich were clear winners as well as the fries with the salt and vinegar dry rub. Spicy Margarita was excellent too. Seating is limited, but was a great night to eat outside at one of the picnic tables.

The staff here is amazing!! I'd go here for them alone, they handle every customer with love and care and try to please everyone! The food is delicious, awesome burgers and fires with a pleasant atmosphere that welcome all. Will be back again and again!
