Butcher Burger was established in the spring of 2014, specializing in unique burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls and fries. Since then, Butcher Burger has expanded into the Western Mountains of Maine and most recently, Portland, ME.

We pride ourselves in supporting local breweries and we are pleased to serve you the very best of what the Maine beer scene has to offer. We prepare all of our food in-house from scratch, using fresh ingredients.

I definitely recommend the Hawaiian burger I was going to just get a regular burger or cheeseburger but for some reason I seen a review and it said definitely try the Hawaiian burger so I'm going to tell you as well if you like pineapples and you like meat you're going to love the Hawaiian burger!!!

We flew into Portland from Georgia & I was wanting a burger & my friend wanted lobster. We happened across Butcher Burger on a nice day, so we could sit outside, & it was perfect. I had the Butcher Melt & my friend had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, both with fries. First off they said the block sauce was spicy so I was nervous to try it, but oh my it was not spicy & oh so delicious on the fries & the sandwich. Apparently the lobster grilled cheese was one of my friend's favorite meals of our trip. The triple cooked fries were so crisply & delicious. I highly recommend this place & would definitely go back. The ladies working that day were very friendly & helpful to us out of towners.

My husband and I stayed in Portland for a night. We walked up and down the streets, looking for a place for dinner. The smells coming out of this tiny restaurant drew us in. We ordered burgers and fries and they were delicious. The bartender was very pleasant and suggested some good beer selections. We highly recommend this place.
